At Iris, accessible from Iris, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information (data, photos, and faces) that is collected and recorded by Iris and how we use it.

Log Files

Iris follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they are using application. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the application, and gathering demographic information.

Your Data

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

• Face photographs you provide when you use the App, via your camera or camera roll (if you have granted us permission to access your camera or camera roll). We obtain only the specific images you chose to modify using the App; we do not collect your photo albums even if you grant us your access to them. Please note that while we do not require or request any metadata attached to the photographs you upload, metadata (including, for example, geotags) may be associated with your photographs by default. We take steps to delete any metadata that may be associated with a photograph you provide when you use the App. These photographs will then turned into AI model that we will call face data from this point on.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

• We do not use the photographs you provide when you use the App for any reason other than to provide you with the portrait editing functionality of the App. We may use information other than photographs for the following purposes:
  • To operate and improve the App:
    • Enable you to use the App’s features
    • Communicate with you about the App, including by sending you announcements, updates, and security alerts, which we may send through a push notification, and responding to your requests, questions and feedback
    • Provide technical support for the App
• We do not use the face data generated for any reason other than to provide you with the portrait generation functionality of the App.

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

• We do not share information (face data, photographs, or any other data) with any third parties.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

• We will only keep your personal information (face photographs and face data) for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 30 days.
• When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete such information.
